Recently I had a chance to visit Windcreek Casino Wetumpka for an event hosted by Birmingham radio station 987 Today’s KISS. It was FUN!!!! It was so much fun and that reflecting on it reminded me of the food. (shocking I know!)

I’m too chicken to be a serious gambler so my trips down 65-S to Windcreek casino are more about the culinary than the coins. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t mind being a jackpot winner.  However, the quick trip, wonderful hotel (the mattress is everything), the delish buffet, and atmosphere are refreshing. Take a look at some of the FOOD and fun I’ve had just a stone’s throw from home. And plan a visit yourself. Invite me if you do!
